Income
- Single trip: enter one gross income number for the whole season.
- Fishing trips: split the season into trips (e.g. June opener, July peak) with a gross amount each. Use this when a deckhand was only aboard for part of the season — assign them just their trips in the Crew section.
- Season-level deductions and processor payments are automatically spread across trips in proportion to each trip's gross.
- Gross from: enter a known dollar amount, or forecast it from pounds × price per pound. In forecast mode the gross is calculated for you — update a price as it firms up and every crew balance recalculates.

Additional Processor Payments
- Payments from the processor that arrive separately from the initial gross — RSW, quality bonuses, end-of-season price adjustments.
- Flat $ or % of gross; apply to the whole season (pro-rated across trips) or pin to a single trip.
- They're added to the crew share pool: every crew balance recalculates, and they're called out in their own section on all PDFs.
- Uncheck Include peak crew for payments only full-season crew should share in (e.g. a loyalty bonus) — crew assigned specific trips then don't get a cut of it.
Boat Deductions
- Costs taken off the gross before crew shares are figured — fuel, food, tender fees, shared gear.
- Flat $ or % of gross. "Whole season" spreads the cost across trips by gross; or pin it to the one trip it belongs to (e.g. a July repair).
- These reduce the crew share pool for everyone. For your own costs that crew shouldn't share in, use Owner Expenses below instead.
Crew
- Add each crew member with their share percentage. Names auto-suggest from crew you've used before; picking a suggestion fills in their saved email.
- Trips worked (shown when using fishing trips): leave "Full season" checked, or uncheck it and pick just the trips a peak crewman was aboard — their share only comes from those trips.
- Crew deductions come off that member's share only (gear, raingear, travel).
- Advances & payments: record what you've already paid with a date and note — balance due updates. Come back through the season and add payments as you make them.
- Crew PDF / Email PDF: their individual statement showing the boat-level math and only their own share, deductions, and payments — never other crew.
Owner Expenses
- Your own costs — insurance, moorage, loan payments, boat maintenance you're not passing to the crew.
- Tracked against your boat remainder only: the totals bar shows Owner net (remainder minus these expenses).
- Never deducted from the crew share pool and never shown on crew statements — they appear only on your combined PDF.
